      Regarding Passenger Facility Charge (PFC) for Japan Domestic Flights

      A Passenger Facility Charge is charged at the following Japan domestic flight terminals. This charge is included with the airfare paid when you purchase a ticket to one of the destination airports and which the airline pays the airport operator. Operators of each of these airports allow these fees to maintain a number of facilities passengers use, including the departure and arrival lobbies. We sincerely appreciate your understanding.

Applicability

Usage Requirements

Fares may be reserved or purchased up to 55 days prior to the boarding date.

  • * Fares may not be set for some periods, routes, or flights.

    • Reservations

    Accepted from the date that ticket reservations and sales start up to 55 days prior to the boarding date.

    Purchase Deadline

    If there are 59 or more days prior to the boarding date (not including the boarding date), please make your purchase within 4 days including the reservation date.
    However, if there are between 58 days and 55 days prior to the boarding date, please make your purchase up to 55 days prior to the boarding date.

    Changes

    Reservations cannot be changed. Flights cannot be changed on the day of the flight even if there are empty seats on an earlier flight.

    Ticket expiration date

    Valid only for reserved flights

    Refunds

    Refund period: Within 30 days as calculated from the day after the period of validity for the ticket ends

    Refunds will incur the following cancellation charges and a refund charge of JPY 440 per 1 ticket.

    Prior to departure time of reserved flight：

    • 70 days prior to departure of a reserved flight: Amount equivalent to about 10% of fare
    • Between 69 and 55 days prior to departure of a reserved flight: Amount equivalent to about 30% of fare
    • Between 54 days prior to departure of a reserved flight and departure of the reserved flight: Amount equivalent to about 50% of fare

    At or after departure time of a reserved flight：

    • Amount equivalent to 100% of fare

        Only the Passenger Facility Charge will be refunded.

    Reservations and purchases may be made.

    Restricted number of seats

    There is a limited number of seats on each flight.
    You might not be able to specify a seat for some periods, routes, or flights.

    Remarks
    If you select SORATABI 55 for a child between 3 and 11 years of age or a child under 3 years of age who will use a seat, and the child fare for the flight is cheaper than that fare price, the STAR Child fare will automatically be applied.
